MICHEL D’ORNANO AWARD
Created in 1991 by the MPA member companies in memory of Michel d'Ornano, the award was given a new impetus in 1998. It currently rewards a French screenwriter whose work is transferred to the screen for the first time (4,500 euros), and the film’s distributor (12,000 euros plus one subtitled print). The winners are honored during a ceremony, followed by a screening of the winning film at the Deauville American Film Festival.
